Our mission

The Book Girls — sisters Tammy and Wendy — are passionate about giving books a second life. We help individuals and families find new homes for books they no longer need, whether you’re downsizing, clearing out an estate, refreshing your shelves, or wrapping up a yard sale.

We will also pick up any left over books from an company estate sale. 

Our mission is simple: keep books out of landfills and into the hands of readers who will appreciate them. Every book we collect is thoughtfully sorted and given a second chance — whether that means reselling it to a new reader, adding it to our own curated collection, or donating it to organizations and individuals who will truly cherish it.

We provide a free, convenient, and stress-free way to declutter your shelves. No heavy lifting, no guilt about waste — just the peace of knowing your books will continue their journey.

We come directly to you, whether you're downsizing, decluttering, or managing an estate, to collect your books at no cost.

Our location

We are located in Fredonia, NY and will pick up books through Chautauqua County and surrounding areas.  The more books have, the farther we travel!
